#KC3 focused on laying the foundation for our Purpose Series, helping us understand God’s general purpose for every believer and how this becomes the doorway to discovering our personal, God-ordained assignment.

Through teaching, community discussion and real-time engagement, we explored what Scripture says about identity, purpose and the journey to finding meaning in Christ.

Principles of Purpose - Ephesians 2:10

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance for us to walk in.”

1. Identity — “We are God’s workmanship”

We are God’s masterpiece, intentionally crafted, valuable and not here by accident. Purpose begins with knowing who you are.

2. Recreated in Christ - Purpose begins in salvation

Through Christ, we are restored, reconnected to God and brought into the light. Without Christ, we cannot see or understand purpose. Jesus restores us so we can walk in the good works God prepared for us.

3. Purpose - “Good Works”

Our general purpose is to reveal God’s character through good works — love, forgiveness, service, generosity and kindness. Good works are not how we are saved, but why we were saved

4. Prepared in Advance - Your purpose existed before you did

God wrote the details of your assignment long before you were born. We do not create purpose; We Discover IT

Why Purpose Matters

The teaching highlighted three reasons why purpose is essential

  • Purpose is the reason you are alive today.

  • Purpose brings true fulfillment — not money, pleasure or status.

  • Purpose is what God rewards here and in eternity.

Without purpose, many experience boredom, loneliness and a sense of being lost, a reflection of living disconnected from God's intended design.

the conversation

An uplifting and enriching Q&A session, filled with wisdom, personal reflections and insights from our KC family

How do I find my personal purpose?

Start with the general purpose, doing good, serving others, loving people as obedience to God. As you walk in general purpose with the right heart, God will lead you into your specific purpose.

What’s the difference between gifts and purpose?

The community shared powerful insights:

  • “Purpose is what we are created for; gifts are what we are created with.”

  • “Gifts are the vehicle that help us fulfil purpose.”

Does purpose change?

Purpose itself does not change, it was prepared by God before you were born.
However, we change, and our route back to purpose may change, but God continually gives us opportunities to return

What if I never find my purpose?

The consequences include regret, loss of fulfillment and missing out on eternal reward. but God desires to lead every person into clarity, and no one is beyond hope
