The Journey So Far
The final conversation in our 1 Year Anniversary Series brought the journey into purpose together through trust, courage, expanding vision and Kingdom impact.
In #KC10, Amanda Blankson continued the personal story behind Kingdom Conversations and explored what happened when hearing God and preparing for purpose had to become trust, action and obedience.
In #KC8 and #KC9, the journey had begun with Kingdom First, learning to recognise God’s voice and understanding seasons of preparation. In this final part, the focus shifted to what happens when God asks us to move, even when we cannot see the whole picture.
Amanda reflected on learning to release control, stepping beyond comfort, finding courage through obedience, watching a small act of faith develop into a wider vision, and recognising that purpose ultimately reaches beyond ourselves.
The Journey Continued
✦KC10 explored four further phases in the journey into God’s purpose.
PHASE FOUR
The Stretch of Trust
Recognising God’s leading was one thing. Following Him without knowing where everything would lead required another level of trust.
- Letting go of the need to control every detail.
- Trusting God without complete clarity.
- Choosing obedience over comfort.
PHASE FIVE
The Step of Courage
There comes a crossing point where hearing and trusting God have to be coupled with action.
Courage was not the absence of fear. It was choosing obedience even while feeling uncomfortable or uncertain.
PHASE SIX
The Expansion of Vision
What began as something personal between Amanda and God gradually became something bigger.
Individual steps of obedience became a vision. The vision became conversations. The conversations created community, and God brought people alongside the vision to help carry it.
PHASE SEVEN
Kingdom Impact
Purpose becomes bigger than asking what we are meant to achieve. It asks how what God has placed within us can be used for His glory and for the benefit of others.
Kingdom impact is influence that reflects God, represents His nature and ultimately points people back towards Him.
You don’t have to feel ready.
You just have to be willing to follow God’s leading.

Creating Space to Hear God
Amanda reflected on intentionally spending time alone with God during a period of solitude. In the quiet, she experienced God speaking deeply to her heart and strengthening her personal relationship with Him.
Using Your Voice
After that period of solitude, Amanda felt prompted to pick up her phone and record a video without preparation or a script. Speaking publicly was outside her comfort zone, but obedience required her to act rather than continue analysing.
Courage Comes as You Move
One of the strongest lessons from the conversation was that confidence does not have to come first. Each act of obedience made the next act a little easier.
Courage is obedience despite discomfort.
Guarding Your Witness
Kingdom impact is not only about what we say publicly. Amanda reflected on the responsibility to ensure that private choices and personal integrity support the message we ask others to believe.
Growing Through Challenges
The journey was not without resistance, distraction, negative comments and difficult moments. Rather than allowing them to stop the work, Amanda reflected on learning through each test and developing resilience, wisdom and character.
Vision Is Not Carried Alone
As the vision expanded, God brought people with different gifts, prayers, insight and encouragement. KC10 recognised the important role of community in helping a Kingdom vision grow beyond one individual.
KINGDOM IMPACT
More Than Numbers.
During the conversation, Kingdom impact was distinguished from simply building a successful organisation or platform.
Followers, recognition, opportunities and growth may all have value, but they are not the ultimate measure.
If a conversation causes someone to seek God more deeply, recognise their purpose, grow, heal, change direction or take a step of obedience, that too is impact.
Reflect on Your Own Journey
✦Amanda encouraged those listening not to hear KC10 simply as her story, but to consider what God may already be doing in their own lives.
Where might God be asking you to trust Him without having the full picture?
Is there a step you already know you need to take, even though you do not yet feel ready?
What might God be developing through the experiences and preparation of your current season?
How could what God has placed within you begin to positively influence somebody else?

The Journey Continues
KC10 brought the Anniversary Series to a close, but Amanda described the journey itself as far from finished.
There are still parts of the vision that are not yet clear. The difference is learning that we do not need to know everything in order to continue moving with God.
